Smaller Work within a Print Book
1. A Work in a Specialized Reference, Anthology, or Collection
*Author of specific articles or writings with an editor for the entire book
Author last name, Author first name. “Title of Article.” Title of Book or Collection, edited by Editor first name
Editor last name, vol. #, Publisher, Year of publication, Page Range.
*Skip vol. if it is one book.
*Use p or pp. before pages.
*If multiple editors, list names like you do normally—by first name and last name.
Ex. edited by Phillip K. Jason and Franklin N. Magill,
edited by Hans Dieter Betz, et al, (Use et al when you have 3 or more editors.)
Examples:
Betts, Richard K. “Biological Weapons Are a Serious Threat.” Biological and Chemical Weapons, edited by
Bruno Leone and Stuart Miller, vol. 2, Greenhaven Press, 2001, pp. 9-21.
